The Bioacoustic AI Doctoral Network is now fully underway: our 10 Doctoral Candidates have been developing their projects for around 6 months now, and the Advisory Board has convened and come face-to-face with the 10 PhD projects!
In December the first Seasonal School of Bioacoustic AI was hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Animal Behaviour at Konstanz, Germany. The doctoral candidates told us about their progress, the Advisory Board introduced themselves and met us all for the first time together, and the consortium members gave a full range of masterclas lectures – in ecology, animal behaviour, signal processing, AI, and electronics.
The city of Konstanz also obliged by providing us with a traditional German Christmas market.
